Το Εξειδικευμένο Κέντρο Διδασκαλίας Ανατολίτικου Χορού GADALA, που λειτουργεί πλέον ως Πιστοποιημένο ΚΕ.ΔΙ.ΒΙ.Μ.1 & Αναγνωρισμένο Εκπαιδευτήριο από το Υπουργείο Παιδείας, Θρησκευμάτων, Πολιτισμού & Αθλητισμού, βρέθηκε την Κυριακή 19 Μαρτίου 2017 στο όμορφο νησί της ΡΟΔΟΥ για τη διεξαγωγή των 2 δίωρων σεμιναρίων oriental φιλανθρωπικής δράσης με θέμα «ΑΙΓΥΠΤΟΣ: Τεχνικές παραδοσιακού ανατολίτικου χορού».
Τα εν λόγω σεμινάρια υλοποιούνται στα πλαίσια της πανελλαδικής καμπάνιας φιλανθρωπικού χαρακτήρα με σύνθημα «…ΣΥΜΜΕΤΕΧΟΥΜΕ ΣΤΗΝ ΕΚΣΤΡΑΤΕΙΑ ΕΝΗΜΕΡΩΣΗΣ ΓΙΑ ΤΟN ΚΑΡΚΙΝΟ …ΣΤΗΡΙΖΟΥΜΕ ΤΟ ΕΡΓΟ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗΣ ΑΝΤΙΚΑΡΚΙΝΙΚΗΣ ΕΤΑΙΡEΙΑΣ», την οποία ξεκίνησε το Εξειδικευμένο Κέντρο Διδασκαλίας Ανατολίτικου Χορού GADALA το Μάιο 2015 υπό την αιγίδα του Ομίλου για την UNESCO Πειραιώς & Νήσων και του Παγκόσμιου Οργανισμού Ανατολίτικου Χορού M.E.D.W.OR.
Η αρχή έγινε στις 23 & 24 Μαΐου 2015 στην πόλη της Ρόδου με τη διεξαγωγή δύο τρίωρων σεμιναρίων φιλανθρωπικής δράσης με θέμα «ΑΙΓΥΠΤΟΣ: Τεχνικές παραδοσιακού ανατολίτικου χορού». Η καμπάνια πραγματοποιείται υπό την αιγίδα του Ομίλου για την UNESCO Πειραιώς & Νήσων, καθώς και του Παγκόσμιου Οργανισμού Ανατολίτικου Χορού M.E.D.W.OR.
Πρόκειται για μια πρωτοβουλία που χαρακτηρίζεται από διττό σκοπό:
από τη μία, την ανοιχτή εμπεριστατωμένη πληροφόρηση του ευρύτερου κοινού γύρω από την ευεργετική επίδραση του ανατολίτικου χορού (Οριεντάλ) στην αντιμετώπιση του καρκίνου, στα πλαίσια της ευαισθητοποίησης γύρω από τις συχνότερες δυσκολίες που συναντούν σήμερα οι γυναίκες, και ειδικότερα την πρόληψη και έγκαιρη αντιμετώπιση του καρκίνου,
κι από την άλλη, τη σωστή αντίληψη και την σε βάθος κατανόηση του παρεξηγημένου ανατολίτικου χορού και τη διάδοση της πλούσιας αραβικής φιλοσοφίας, της παράδοσης και της λαϊκής τέχνης της Αιγύπτου.
Η σημαντική αυτή φιλανθρωπική δράση βρήκε υποστήριξη από τον Δημοτικό Οργανισμό Πολιτισμού & Αθλητισμού Ρόδου (Δ.Ο.Π.Α.Ρ.) του Δήμου Ρόδου, ο οποίος παραχώρησε την Αίθουσα Χορού του Νηρέα για την διεξαγωγή των σεμιναρίων για το σκοπό αυτό.
Τα σεμινάρια εισηγήθηκε η ελληνοαιγύπτια χορογράφος – χοροδιδάσκαλος, Διευθύντρια Χορού του Ομίλου για τηνUNESCO Πειραιώς & Νήσων, ιδρύτρια του Εξειδικευμένου Κέντρου Διδασκαλίας Ανατολίτικου Χορού GADALA και συντάκτρια του διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένου από τον M.E.D.W.OR. Τεχνικολογίου Ανατολίτικου Χορού, κα Φωτεινή Gadala.
Την έναρξη της καμπάνιας σηματοδότησε η απονομή, που πραγματοποίησε η κα Φωτεινή Gadala εκ μέρους του Προέδρου του Ομίλου για την UNESCO Πειραιώς & Νήσων και Μέλος του Εκτελεστικού Συμβουλίου της Παγκόσμιας Ομοσπονδίας Ομίλων, Συλλόγων και Κέντρων UNESCO (WFUCA) για την Ευρώπη και τη Βόρεια Αμερική, κύριο Ιωάννη Μαρωνίτη, Τιμητικής Διάκρισης για το έργο της και την προσφορά της στον άνθρωπο, στην Προέδρο του Παραρτήματος Ρόδου της Ελληνικής Αντικαρκινικής Εταιρείας , κα Μαρία Κούκουλα.
Όπως εξηγεί η κα Φωτεινή Gadala: «Πρόκειται για μια πρωτοβουλία που χαρακτηρίζεται από διττό σκοπό: από τη μία, την ανοιχτή εμπεριστατωμένη πληροφόρηση του ευρύτερου κοινού γύρω από την ευεργετική επίδραση του ανατολίτικου χορού (Οριεντάλ) στην αντιμετώπιση του καρκίνου, στα πλαίσια της ευαισθητοποίησης γύρω από τις συχνότερες δυσκολίες που συναντούν σήμερα οι γυναίκες, και ειδικότερα την πρόληψη και έγκαιρη αντιμετώπιση του καρκίνου, κι από την άλλη, τη σωστή αντίληψη και τη σε βάθος κατανόηση του παρεξηγημένου ανατολίτικου χορού και τη διάδοση της πλούσιας αραβικής φιλοσοφίας, της παράδοσης και της λαϊκής τέχνης της Αιγύπτου».
Τα σεμινάρια στέφθηκαν με μεγάλη επιτυχία. Μέρος των εσόδων διατέθηκαν για την ενίσχυση της Ελληνικής Αντικαρκινικής Εταιρείας - Παράρτημα Ρόδου.
Ευχαριστούμε όλους όσους μας στήριξαν σε αυτήν την προσπάθεια, τους δημοτικούς φορείς, του διάφορους συλλόγους, τα ΜΜΕ της Ρόδου και κυρίως τους κατοίκους της Ρόδου, για το ενδιαφέρον και τη συμμετοχή και συνάμα υποστήριξη αυτής της ανθρωπιστικής προσπάθειας.
Ο επόμενος κύκλος σεμιναρίων για τον ίδιο σκοπό θα διεξαχθεί στο Δήμο της Ρόδου τον Νοέμβρη 2017.

WARM WELCOMING FOR THE GADALA METHOD IN RHODES…
The Specialized Centre of Teaching Middle-Eastern Dance GADALA, which functions as Certified CE.L.L.1 & Recognised Educational Centre by the Minister of Education, Religious Affairs, Culture & Sports, was on Sunday 19th of March 2017 in the beautiful island of Rhodes for the organization of the two 2hour - oriental seminars of charitable action with the title: “EGYPT: The techniques of traditional middle-eastern dance”. “
The seminars belongs to the Pan-hellenic campaign of charitable character with the slogan “ WE PARTICIPATE IN THE CANCER AWARENESS CAMPAIGN. …WE ARE BY THE SIDE OF THE HELLENIC ANTICANCER SOCIETY”. which the Specialized Centre of Teaching Middle-Eastern Dance GADALA started in May 2015 under the aegis of the UNESCO Club of Piraeus and Islands and the Worldwide Organization of Oriental Dance M.E.D.W.OR.
The beginning began on the 23rd & 24th of May 2015 in Rhodes with the organization of the two 3hour – seminars of charitable action with the title: “EGYPT: The techniques of traditional middle-eastern dance”. “ The campaign is under the aegis of the UNESCO Club of Piraeus & Islands, as well as of the Worldwide Organisation of Middle-Eastern Dance M.E.D.W.OR.
It is about an initiative that is characterized by a double purpose: on the one hand, the open thorough public’s awareness for the beneficial effect of middle-eastern dance (oriental) facing cancer, in the terms of awareness for the more frequent difficulties which face women today and especially the prevention and immediate treatment of cancer and on the other hand the correct perception and understanding in depth of the misunderstood middle-eastern dance and the promotion of the rich Arabic philosophy, tradition and folk art of Egypt.”
This significant charitable action was supported by the Municipal Organisation of Culture & Sports of Rhodes (D.O.P.A.R.) of the Municipality of Rhodes, which gave us for free the Dance Hall of Nireus for the organization of the seminars for this purpose.
The seminar of authentic Egyptian dance was introduced by the Greek Egyptian choreographer – dance teacher, Dance Director of the UNESCO Club of Piraeus and Islands, founder and teacher of the Specialized Centre of Teaching Oriental Dance GADALA and conductor of the internationally recognized by M.E.D.W.OR. Techniques of Middle-Eastern Dance Mrs. Fotini Gadala.
The beginning of the campaign was marked by the award, that Mrs. Fotini Gadala made on behalf of the President of the UNESCO Club of Piraeus and Islands and Member of the Executive Council of the Worldwide Federation of Clubs, Associations and Centres UNESCO (WFUCA) for Europe and North America, Mr Ioannis Maronitis, Honorable Award, for her action and contribution to human, to the President of Branch of Rhodes of the Hellenic Anticancer Society, Mrs. Maria Koukoula.

The seminars were very successful. Part of the revenues were given for the enhancement of the Hellenic Anticancer Society – Branch of Rhodes.
We thank all these people who supported our effort, the municipal carriers, the several associations, the Mass Media of Rhodes and mainly the citizens of Rhodes, for theira interest and participation and simultaneously their support at this humanitarian effort.
The next round of seminars for the same purpose in the Municipality of Rhodes is scheduled in November 2017.
